NAU and Lake Area Technical Institute Collaborate to Benefit Students
WATERTOWN, SOUTH DAKOTA – National American University (NAU) announces that it has entered into an agreement with Lake Area Technical Institute (LATI). The agreement offers LATI students, graduates, and full-time staff the opportunity to transfer qualified credits from LATI to NAU.
LATI students are eligible for the new NAU Tuition Advantage when they enroll in an undergraduate program at National American University. This allows certain undergraduate students to reduce the cost of tuition. Under the NAU Tuition Advantage, flat rate tuitions are based on the number of credit hours a student takes per quarter and includes all fees, with some exceptions. Under the agreement, NAU will also provide a tuition discount for LATI students, graduates, and full-time staff who enroll in NAU master’s programs.
“Our goal is for students to continue receiving quality education while earning a degree at an accelerated pace and a lower tuition rate,” says Dr. Ronald Shape, President and CEO of National American University. “Our success and our commitment to students over the past 75 years are rooted in the belief that quality educational opportunities should be available to anyone who desires them.”
Both National American University and Lake Area Technical Institute offer quality educational programs and are dedicated to serving students of diverse populations. This agreement enhances the educational opportunities available to students, graduates, and full-time staff at LATI by allowing them to continue their education at NAU.
NAU has been providing technical and professional career education since 1941. NAU opened its first campus in Rapid City, South Dakota, and has since grown to multiple locations throughout the United States. Today, NAU offers associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree programs in traditional, online, and hybrid formats. National American University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, with several academic programs separately accredited or approved by national educational and professional associations.
