Accelerated Online MBA and MM Program Overview
The accelerated MBA and MM programs are ideal if you want a faster path to earning an advanced degree. These online graduate programs give you the solid business foundation you need to advance your career without taking time away from work. By eliminating extraneous electives and a thesis, the accelerated path allows you to focus on meaningful assignments that are immediately relevant to your career path or employment. These programs also offer unique cohort experiences that can save you time and money.
Using multiple methods of instruction and open-source materials, your program will rely on scaffolding and high-impact assessments. Upon completion of your degree, you will have curated a digital career portfolio of program assignments that highlight your workplace knowledge, skills and abilities.
As a graduate of either program, you will be able to:

Online Accelerated MBA and MM Classes and Curriculum
Each program consists of 10 courses totaling 45 credit hours taken over four terms that can be completed in one year:
- Term 1: One 11-week course along with two sequential 5.5 week courses
- Term 2: Two 5.5 week courses taken over 11 weeks
- Term 3: Two 5.5 week courses taken over 11 weeks
- Term 4: Three 5.5 week courses taken over 11 weeks
- 11- week courses require 1 lesson per week
- 5.5-week courses require 2 lessons per week

Core courses for both degrees include an Introduction to Business, Communications and Student Success, Data-Driven Decision-Making, Strategy, Managing Organizations and Leading People, Human Resource Management and the final Portfolio (included in Strategy and Policy).
MBA candidates will also study Marketing Essentials, Financial Management and Business Economics, Enterprise Operations and Accounting.
MM candidates will study Project Management, Accounting and Finance for Managers, Marketing and Sales Management, and Legal Environments of Business and International Management.

Prerequisite Requirements for the Online MBA and MM Programs
You must meet certain business study requirements to gain acceptance to the online MBA or MMprogram. There are two options available:
- Option A: This is for students who completed undergraduate or graduate courses at an accredited two or four-year institution or from an institution recognized or accredited by an appropriate government or third-party institution. You must meet the following requirements:
- Earned a C or higher in the courses
- Successfully completed CLEP or DANTES examinations
- Submitted an experiential learning portfolio
- Option B: This is for students who do not have sufficient business coursework. You can complete the following courses:
- Statistics
- Economic Analysis
- Accounting and Finance for Managers
You also need to demonstrate proficiency in computers and application software.
For MBA:
It is recommended that students who wish to complete the accelerated format version of the program should be at least 25 years of age and should have a CGPA of 3.0. Additional admissions counseling may be recommended as this is a very rigorous, fast-paced program.
The following course pre-requisites are recommended but not required:
- AC2760 Financial Accounting for Managers
- MA3000 Business Statistics
- EC2050 Macroeconomics
- FN3000 Business Finance I
The above recommended pre-requisites may also be met through equivalent undergraduate courses or master’s courses taken at an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or from an institution recognized or accredited by an appropriate government or third-party agency.
For MM:

Online MBA and MM Degree Career Outcomes
The online MBA and MM programs provide you with the background you need to be a business leader across a number of different organizations. Who Is a Good Candidate for the Online MBA and MM Programs?

Each student will work with his/her adviser to select 13.5 hours of elective credit that best match their professional interests. These electives can be selected from any master’s courses not included in the MBA core courses, provided that the student meets any individual course prerequisites. Students wishing to pursue the MBA who have not completed sufficient undergraduate coursework in accounting, business finance, statistics and economics shall be required to choose the general emphasis.
