Healthcare Administration

Graduates of the online Master of Business Administration, Emphasis: Healthcare Administration degree program will establish a conceptual framework for understanding the interconnection between health care administration and health care policy.

Healthcare Administration (MM) coursework examines international dimensions of health care policies and issues. Students will create plans for healthcare initiatives based on documented best practices with consideration given to related fiscal, regulatory and policy issues.

Healthcare Administration (MM) Core Courses

Students who select this option must complete the MM core courses and the following electives:

  • Fiscal and Regulatory Issues in Health Services
  • Global Issues in Healthcare
  • Health Care Administration and Policy Seminar

Student Learning Outcomes

  • Create plans for healthcare initiatives based on documented best practices with consideration given to related fiscal, regulatory, and policy issues.
